Vista support Yes, it does support Vista and you can still make your service interact with desktop despite the new Vista limitations.

A very quick test This was the first exe as service program I tried. Even I could figure out how to use, which is a big plus. As said, I have no experience of any other such program. However, the person who had asked me to check this had been able to do the job using Windows own tools. Judging from his description ServiceShell seems to be much easire.

Great download Does exactly what the product description states. I could have downloaded the Windows toolkit to run an EXE as a service, but this thing was quick and painless, no big download, and reading involved. Did the job I needed it to do and so far, very happy. Saved me a few hours of time!
Meh not working for me Did not work for my needs. Good features but would not work on server 2003. No support.

 Permission Analyzer demo Review I have been searching for a program that will allow me to generate reports of which users/groups have which file/folder permissions on which directories; as well as the opposite (which directories allow/deny which users/groups have what level of access).The program seems to accomplish all of these goals. My biggest complaint is with the formatting of the final report. I did not find it very easy to read, and the report can only be saved in *.html format.
